Mat Schramm is a creative producer, writer, and founder of Verge Film Productions, based in the United Arab Emirates and servicing the MENA region. With over 15 years of experience living in the Middle East, this Australian expat brings a unique and invaluable perspective to the world of storytelling.
Mat has an extensive background in producing and writing for TV series, feature films, and commercials. He has developed a slate of TV and film projects that explore various genres and themes. These include NEOTOPIA, a gritty sci-fi series set in a metaverse with a meritocracy-based credit score; THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS, a comedy-drama series centered around a small-town American pastor; UNMANNED a poignant story of an 11-year old Iraqi boy, who’s father is killed by a US Reaper drone; among others.
As the creative force behind Verge Film Productions, Mat continues to develop thought-provoking projects that push the boundaries of storytelling and appeal to a global audience.
